We're starting to see a shift in the market for search. We all know ChatGPT and social search are gaining popularity, but are these "new search engines" really driving revenue? If you asked me this last year, it was little to none. But now, at our ad agency, we see the numbers starting to pick up. We helped a home services business grow its revenue by 9% in the first quarter of this year purely because of social search and optimizing for LLM like ChatGPT. The same goes for an e-commerce company that sells pet-related products. Because of those two channels, they saw a 7% increase in revenue. It's not a huge gain, but it all adds up, and the data clearly shows that these channels will continue to drive a higher percentage of revenue over time.
