We analyzed 219 businesses that run ads on social media to see which traffic sources provide the best and worst customer lifetime value (CLV). These businesses included B2C and B2B companies. The results may shock you. For B2C companies, the winner isn't Facebook or Instagram... it's YouTube. Meta's channels are in second and third place. Less surprisingly, B2B companies are seeing the best results from LinkedIn, with X and YouTube following. These insights can be useful when you're coming up with targeting strategies for your business.
