Google is cracking down on AI content

Last month, Google announced two major changes to cut down on low-quality search results:

1. A core algorithm update

2. New and improved spam policies

From their early evaluations, they expect that this will reduce low-quality, unoriginal content in search results by 40%.

And that includes a lot of AI-generated content... which is what most marketers are putting out these days.

After these updates, a lot of websites were hit with search ranking penalties from Google.
