I recently shared 5 tasks every SEO should be completed before the end of the year on LinkedIn.
Did you miss it?
It's important information, so here's the rundown again:
- Run a site audit to see what errors need fixing on your website (you can do that here)
- Audit your content and delete or update any mediocre pages (having mediocre content actually hurts your rankings)
- Update old pages with fresh content (this is why Wikipedia ranks so well)
- Combine similar pages that target the same keywords (this way Google isn't confused on which page to rank for the same keyword)
- Review your AI-generated content and make sure it aligns with your brand tone (make sure you modify your AI-generated content so it provides something new... no one wants to read the same old stuff over and over again)
By completing these steps now, you can head into the new year knowing your website is working for you, not against you.
You can always ask my team for help with any of these tasks. Schedule a call to discuss your SEO strategy here.
Cheers,
Neil
PS: If you're running paid ads, you'll want to add another task to that list: Check your ads' performance with this free tool and find out how you can improve their performance.
